The Essentials for Foodies Program is a 6-week Dietitian-led group program for NDIS participants. The program is designed for people who would like to develop greater independence in planning healthy meals, shopping for grocery items and preparing healthy meals and snacks.
The program enables participants to feel confident in making healthy food choices to improve their health and wellbeing.
Suitable for adolescents aged 17+ and adults of all ages.
By the completion of the 6-week course, participants will:

Session 2: Building healthy meals
Session 3: Healthy shopping
Session 5: Supermarket tour
Session 6: Healthy takeaway and snacks
Session 7: Using skills to create a healthy dish
The Essentials for Foodies program is scheduled to run at various locations in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
