Care Squared is registered with Translating and Interpreting Services (TIS National) for engaging translation and interpreter support for NDIS participants. Our allied health professionals will assist registered participants from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds that may need interpreting assistance to communicate with providers. Providing such services allows Care Squared to engage and provide assessments and intervention supports to eligible participants and to make sure information about the NDIS, and our services, will be shared in a way participants can understand.
TIS National is an interpreting service provided by the Department of Home Affairs for people who prefer a language other than English, and for agencies and businesses that need to communicate with linguistically diverse people.
Services available for NDIS participants to use with registered providers include:
- Immediate phone interpreting.
- Pre-booked phone interpreting.
- On-site interpreting.
